So far, I’m not really digging Idina as Florence. I guess I’m still too influenced by the ‘88 OBC version of Chess. I’d conceded Adam Pascal as an awesome Freddie a few years back but Idina’s not doing it for me against Kuhn. Hmm.

So I’m about to watch Chess In Concert (finally snagged it from the library) and I’m torn. Adam Pascal is one of my favorites as Freddie/American but I’m not so sure about Josh Groban as Anatoly (who I admit was never a favorite of mine in Chess anyways :x)
I’m excited to see Idina as Florence though. Judy Kuhn is still one of my favorite Florences though :)

So I was very happy with X-Men First Class. Fassbender was as incredible as I knew he would be and the movie was well done. Tomorrow I’ll be able to catch up and watch Hangover II and Kung Fu Panda 2 on Monday maybe.
Watching Gran Torino again on TV :) Such a great movie and Eastwood’s performance is tip-top.
